NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS ACCEPTED IN THE ANZEx EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATION SCHEME
Standards issued by the Joint Standards Australia/Standards New Zealand Committee EL-014, Standards Australia Committee EL-023 and International Electrotechnical Commission Technical Committee TC31 Explosion Protected Equipment Standards are accepted for use in the ANZEx Equipment Certification Scheme.
Only the current issue or revision of a Standard, or the issue or revision immediately prior to the current, should be used for the issue of ANZEx Certificates of Conformity. Situations may exist where exceptions apply and these will need to be discussed with an ANZEx CB e.g. Unit Certification as a result of repair or overhaul.

Standards Australia occasionally issued Rulings based on IEC standards Interpretation Sheets (I-SH). At present all such rulings have now been incorporated into later Issues of the relative standards.
